Bobbye and I just had a meeting with a wonderful woman, Judith Habert. She is the editor of the San Diego Woman Magazine. This woman has such a heart to network and to allow women to become a resource for each other. I love how Judith feels a compelling need to continue on the cutting edge of developing this magazine. It takes much of her time and steals her heart and as a result, she just cannot stop producing! What is it that keeps us pushing forward and not quitting even when we receive minimal reward for the task at hand? I guess it’s because we keep the big picture at the forefront of our minds.
Judith made an insightful comment when she said something like, “Women seem to be much more receptive to opening up their contacts when men tend to protect their list more.” Women understand the need to know, learn from and meet other women, a philosophy that launched Everything 4 Women.
In addition, I was excited about the content of the San Diego Woman magazine. Because Judith is a writer, publisher, photographer and the editor, she has become up close and personal with the many of the women represented in the magazine. She understands the need for good content and maintaining professionalism in every issue. This magazine is social media at its finest; we get the word out through a magazine that connects us as San Diego women. To learn more about Judith, go to her website: www.judithhabert.com.

HE SAID, SHE SAID
Are men really from Mars and Women from Venus, as author Dr. John Gray states in his
bestselling book? Do men and women really see things that differently? If given the same
question could their answers really be so different? At San Diego Woman we wanted to explore the differences between “them” and “us”. Read this month’s installment and find out how the sexes differ when it comes to communicating with each other. What topics would you like to see us duke it out over in upcoming issues? No topic is off limits, so write me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I can’t wait to hear from you!
